Razer partners with the Gamers8 Championship Series
Gaming hardware brand Razer has announced a partnership with the Saudi Esports Federation to sponsor the upcoming Gamers8 charity championship series.
Razer is expected to showcase its products and sell limited editions, introduce the brand on live stream, and organize giveaways for fans.
Omar Batterjee, Head of Communications, Marketing and Partnerships at the Saudi Arabian Esports Federation said: "I am delighted to welcome Razer as a partner in our tournaments. Gamers8's mission is to blur the boundaries between the physical and the virtual, and Razer's trademark is the three-headed snake, one of the most recognizable logos in the gaming world, is a great addition to the event and we know fans will be as excited about this partnership as we are."
Several Razer products will be on display throughout the competition, including the signature collection. Saudi Arabia Esports Federation and Razer additionally organize giveaways for Gamers8 members and fans on social media
Gamers8 will take place in Riyadh. The championship series will include competitions in such disciplines as Rocket League, Dota 2, Fortnite, Rainbow Six Siege and PUBG MOBILE with a total prize pool of $15 million. Tournaments will be broadcast worldwide in at least eight different languages.
Recall that a little earlier, Mastercard and ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) entered into similar partnerships with the Saudi Arabia eSports Federation.
