Luminosity Gaming to play Apex Legends Global Series: 2022 Championship with two stand-ins
The North American esports organization Luminosity Gaming has announced forced changes to the Apex Legends roster for the upcoming Apex Legends Global Series: 2022 Championship. As a result, the team will play in the championship with two stand-ins, iShiny and Monsoon, who are known for playing for Complexity Gaming.
Due to visa issues, Neazul and YanYa will not be able to participate in the upcoming Apex Legends Global Series: 2022 Championship. We would like to thank the city of Raleigh, PGL and Respawn Entertainment for their assistance throughout the process and for working with us to try and get visas in time for the event.
Stand-ins for us will be iShiny and Monsoon, who will join us from Complexity Gaming next week.
iShiny and Monsoon have been playing for Complexity Gaming for the past two and a half years. During this time, the Americans became the winners of ALGS Autumn Circuit #4 - North America and ALGS Autumn Circuit Playoffs - North America.
In turn, Luminosity Gaming signed its first Apex Legends roster at the end of April, having bought out the SCRY team.
