Evil Geniuses parts ways with Legends of Runeterra player
The North American esports organization Evil Geniuses has parted ways with the Legends of Runeterra player. Swim is reportedly no longer a member of the organization as the club conducted its own investigation following the player's allegations of sexual assault.
Recall that earlier the ex-girlfriend of the cybersportsman wrote a 43-page document in which she spoke about all cases of sexual and psychological abuse, as well as about the use of drugs by Swim.
Evil Geniuses is aware of the accusations leveled against Swim that go against our brand's standards of conduct and values. We take these statements seriously as we believe that all members of Evil Geniuses must uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
We have completed an internal investigation into the alleged conduct and, pursuant to the results of the investigation, have concluded that Swim is no longer an employee of Evil Geniuses.
Swim has represented the colors of Evil Geniuses in Legends of Runeterra since November 2018. For three and a half years, the American became the winner of Giant Slayer Fight Night: Legends #13 and Giant Slayer Fight Night: Legends #16, and also got into the top three at Twitch Rivals Showdown, Giant Slayer Fight Night: Legends #17 and Riot Grand Prix, earning a total of $15,550 in prize money.
