Steelix leaves Wave Esports Fortnite roster

Austrian esports organization Wave Esports has announced changes to its Fortnite roster after parting ways with Steelix. The 17-year-old Italian esportsman has represented the club's colors since July 2020.

Today we sadly say goodbye to the legend of Wave Esports! Steelix and its Italian community have been an important contributor to our growth over the past 2 years! Thank you for everything and good luck in the future brother!

Steelix joined Wave Esports in the summer of 2020. During this time, the 17-year-old Italian managed to win DreamHack Open January - Europe, PC Cash Cup: C2S3 - Week 1: Europe and C2S4: FNCS - Heat 4: Europe, and also get into the top three at the Daily Trios Cup: Europe and C2S6: Trios Cash Cup - Week 1: Europe. The last tournament for the player was the Trios Cash Cup: Chapter 2 Season 8 Week 4 - Europe, according to which he took 18th place.

Note that at the end of March, the organization signed RazZzero0o, who became the coach of the current squad. At the same time, the German specialist previously represented the colors of G2 Esports.
