Gambit Esports transported Apex Legends players to Turkey
The Russian esports organization Gambit Esports issued an official statement in which it announced that it had moved the players of the Apex Legends roster to Turkey. In addition, the players will continue to perform under the name "Players".
EA has issued a statement stating that players and teams from Russia cannot participate in the Apex Legends Global Series. Gambit Esports respects the path the players of this roster have traveled and wants them to continue to achieve the very best.
The nearest tournaments Hardecki and Leogri3x6 will play from Turkey. Together with Artyco they will perform under the "Players" tag.
Recall that earlier the company Electronic Arts made changes to the rules for tournaments in the disciplines of Apex Legends and FIFA 22. According to updated information, players from Russia and Belarus are prohibited from participating in championship games developed and published by Electronic Arts.
Currently "Players" takes part in the Apex Legends Global Series: Split 2 Pro League - EMEA. According to the results of the first round of the championship, the team takes the first line in the standings, gaining 77 points at the end of the game day.
