According to a press release, EFL Pro Tour fans will be able to mint and trade NFTs through the Immutable X in a reportedly "safe, carbon-neutral and no-gas manner."

Bernhard Mogk, Vice President of Global Business Development at ESL Gaming:“The DNA of the Immutable X team is games and we share the same vision for the future of NFT. Combined with a deep passion for the community, this is the only way to create meaningful innovation in the space. We couldn't be more excited about launching on Immutable X, the best collectible platform possible, targeting the community and fans to buy, collect and own some of the most memorable moments in ESL Pro Tour history. "

Founded in April 2021, Immutable X is committed to providing growth opportunities for users and developers. This includes providing instant transaction confirmation, scalability, and zero gas charges with a carbon neutral platform to protect digital assets on the Ethereum blockchain.

This is not the first time that ESL has entered the NFT sector. Earlier this year, the organizer unveiled the IEM Cologne Pog Collection, a series of digital collectibles dedicated to the history of CS: GO events.
