IMC and Team Liquid will host a charity stream
Dutch financial services provider IMC and European esports organization Team Liquid have announced a joint charity stream.
As part of the partnership between the parties, several of Team Liquid's content creators will take part in the day's charity stream on Twitch, while during the same period, all proceeds from IMC transactions will be channeled to the American non-profit organization Room to Read.
Victor Goossens, Founder of Team Liquid: “Much of our decision to partner with IMC was driven by a shared desire to help others. It's incredible that we can do this by playing games. trying to make this year the most successful year for Room to Read. "
Team Liquid's participation in this event builds on a multi-year partnership that was signed with IMC back in February 2021. The event will mark the second collaboration between the two parties since IMC has been named a support partner for a hackathon known as Liquid Hacks.
Since its inception in 201, Room to Read has helped over two million children through its literacy program. Over the past 12 months, the organization has used its Literacy Cloud digital platform to broadcast lessons on radio and television to those affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
