Virtus.pro signed ArtStyle

Ivan «ArtStyle» Antonov signed a contract with Virtus.pro. Esportsman became a coach of Dota-2 roster. After a success of Virtus.pro on the regional qualifiers to The Kiev Major 2017, the management of the esports organization understood that Ivan Antonov played a significant role in the results of the team. Thus, Virtus.pro decided to invite ArtStyle on the post of a coach on a permanent basis and signed a contract with ex-Natus Vincere player. Roman Dvoryankin, Virtus.pro G.M., comments on the situation:

«During the qualifiers to Kiev Major, it became obvious that we’ve taken a proper decision inviting Ivan to the team. His experience, strategic thinking and profound game understanding had important positive influence on the team. I’m sure that now we have the strongest team in Europe and it is important for us to show that in Kiev.»

Ivan «ArtStyle» Antonov is known to the community as the first The International champion. He took this title as a member of Natus Vincere in 2011. The prize pool of the first The International was $1,000,000. In March, Virtus.pro invited ArtStyle to take a coach position before The Kiev Major 2017. In the result of qualifiers, VP became the best team and received an invitation to the Major tournament that will take place on April 27 – 30 in Kiev. The prize pool for the event is $3,000,000. The winner of The Kiev Major 2017 will get the main prize of $1,000,000.
