The organizers of MDL Spring 2017 made an announcement for the professional Dota 2 arena that the tournament was sustained. The organizations took this decision because of moving the dates of The Kiev Major 2017 for a week, which affected the desire of teams to go to China just in a few days after the end on the major-tournament.
The representatives of MDL Spring 2017 did not tell when exactly the championship will take place, however, they told that it will be scheduled after The International 2017. Previously, they wanted to host the event from May 10 till 14 in China. Neither the list of participants not the prize pool has been announced yet.
