List of teams for DAC 2017 qualifiers announced
Dota 2 Asia Championships 2017 organizers announced the list of teams participating in European, SEA, American and CIS qualifiers. Each qualifying period is divided into two stages: the group stage and play-off. 8 teams of each division will be seeded into two groups with GSL system. Two best teams of each group will be qualified to play-off of the group stage. The winner of each regional qualifier will get the invitation to DAC 2017 LAN-final. Dota 2 Asia Championships 2017 will take place in Shanghai from March 28 till April 4. The organizer of the event is Perfect World, known due to the organization of The Shanghai Major 2016. The information about the prize pool is unknown. 8 famous teams will participate in DAC 2017. 4 of them, Evil Geniuses, Wings Gaming, OG and NewBee have already received direct invitations.
