DPL Season 3 details announced
The organizers of Dota 2 Professional League championship revealed new details of the third season. As in previous seasons, the tournament is divided into two divisions – the upper one and the lower one. Games of the upper league will be played from March 15 till April 79, and matches of the second division will be played from March 20 till April 20.
In general, 26 teams will participate in the event, and 12 of them will play in the upper division. All teams will compete for the prize pool of $87,000. It should be mentioned that the prize pool of the championship was reduced in 9 times. The second season had the prize pool of $800,000, and Newbee became the champions.
