LeBronDota convinced his comrades to leave Level UP
Recently, Level UP management wrote a long post on Twitlonger about the situation that caused ex-NAVI player Nikola 'LeBronDota' Popovich to leave the organization along with his comrades. According to representatives of the Serbian organization, the initiative to refuse to extend the contracts came from the side of the cybersportsman, and the reasons were unsatisfactory financial conditions at Level UP.
According to the management, the conditions were suitable for all players with the exception of LeBronDota:
Before signing new sponsorship deals for the next DPC season, we had to play qualifiers for The International 10. We had the funds to fly the RdO from Brazil, accommodation, meals and bootcamp, but no salary for this month. Everyone agreed to perform on these terms, except for LeBronDota. Since the DPC slot depended on LeBronDota, he convinced the players to leave Level UP and leave with him. After that, the roster lost resources to move RdO to Europe, as a result of which LeBronDota decided to kick him and take an agressive child.
Nikola Popovich did not stand aside and said what he thinks about the things said in his direction. According to LeBronDota, the financial conditions are not at all the reason why he wanted to leave the Serbian club. He could not establish contact with the coach of the Buktop team, and therefore he saw no other choice but to leave Level UP.
Ha ha ha, it was completely wrong - every player can confirm this. I had a conflict with Buktop, the coach and owner of the team. I couldn't continue working with him, so I decided to leave Level UP, and the players left with me. It might seem like the problem was money, but it isn't. <...> We even decided to stay in the organization after we received an offer from another club with conditions three times better.
On June 15, it became known that cybersportsmen left Level UP. They did not renew their contracts and left immediately after their expiration date. Four out of five players continued to perform together under the Spider Pigzs tag. They will play in the qualifying round for The International 10. Leonard 'RdO' Fernandez's geographic location and lack of opportunity to train with his teammates in Europe were the main reasons why he stopped playing alongside his former teammates. Camille 'agressive child' Biktimirov will play in the roster instead of the Brazilian esports player.
