NutZ retires as a professional Dota 2 player
Singaporean Dota 2 player Wong 'NutZ' Jen Yen shared his plans for the near future. He did not give the community details, but said that there is no professional activity in Dota 2 as a player in this future. Nevertheless, he does not exclude that his future activities will be somehow related to e-sports. Over the course of seven months, the Singaporean has changed several teams, but in the end he could not make it to the Dota Pro Circuit 2021.
He commented on the situation as follows:
"It's time to quit tournaments. It's really hard to say goodbye to what I devoted my entire youth. I thought about it for several months and decided it was time to move on. It is time for a new generation of players, hungry for victories and eager to prove themselves in the professional scene ".
NutZ's career started in 2013. During his gaming career, the Singaporean managed to play in teams such as MVP HOT6ix, MVP Phoenix, Team Faceless, Reality Rift, marchoutofarmy and others. His biggest achievement is finishing 7th-8th at The International 2015. Then he and his team received a cash reward of $ 829,333. At The Kiev Major 2017, he also finished 7-8 in the standings and received $ 125,000 with iceiceice and other teammates. The total earnings of the esports player exceeded $ 230,000.
