New Dota 2 Hero “Arjun” Spotted on Valve’s Experimental Server

Valve has rolled out a new update to Dota 2’s experimental server, and dataminers have spotted a fresh addition: a character named Arjun. Based on the newly surfaced files, this appears to be an upcoming hero. The discovery was made through information published on GitHub.

Arjun has been assigned the internal ID 159, and the game files refer to him as “npc_dota_hero_arjun.” Beyond the name and ID, no further details about the hero’s abilities or role have surfaced yet.

This marks the second unreleased Dota 2 hero to quietly appear on the experimental server in recent months. In late September 2025, the test roster was updated with Bard Frog, a hero rumored since November 2024.
