SoNNeikO Assembles New Dota 2 Squad: Team Tea
Veteran support player Akbar "SoNNeikO" Butaev has announced the creation of a new Dota 2 roster under the name Team Tea, as revealed on FaceIt.
Team Lineup
- Kyialbek “Dream” Tayirov
- Vitaliy “Worick” Brezgin
- Alexander “Cloud” Zakharov
- Athanasios “dEsire” Kartsambas
- Akbar "SoNNeikO" Butaev
The squad will be managed by Alexander “StrangeR” Solomonov, a well-known figure in the CIS scene with prior experience across multiple organizations.

- SoNNeikO – Formerly with AVULUS, where he won the RES Regional Champions.
- Dream – Previously represented Team Klee, lifting the trophy at the European Pro League Season 15.
- Worick – Another former AVULUS player, also part of their RES Regional Champions title run.
- Cloud – Ex-player of 1W Team, where he participated in The International 2024.
- dEsire – Like SoNNeikO and Worick, also competed with AVULUS in the past.
🚨 Current Status
At the time of writing, Team Tea has already been knocked out of the open qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 27.
