DreamLeague Season 25: How to Compete in One of the Biggest Dota 2 Tournaments

Happy New Year 2025 to everyone! The new year also marks the beginning of a fresh season in professional Dota 2. One of the first major tournaments of the year will be DreamLeague Season 25, scheduled to take place from Feb 16, 2025, to Mar 2, 2025.

But why are we talking about this tournament now? Because the qualifiers for this event start on Jan 3, 2025, giving everyone a chance to participate!

All Details About DreamLeague Season 25 Open Qualifier

As mentioned above, the open qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 25 begin this month, offering any team the chance to participate. To join, you'll need to register on FACEIT, create a team there, and sign up for the competition according to your region. Up to 512 teams can participate, making the competition fierce—but it's definitely worth it.

The qualifiers will take place in several stages. From both groups of open qualifiers, eight teams will advance to the closed qualifiers on FACEIT. The winner from each group of eight will earn the opportunity to compete in the regional qualifier for DreamLeague Season 25, where they will face professional teams.

Qualifier Dates

For each region:

• Open Qualifier 1 starts on Jan 3, 2025.
• Open Qualifier 2 starts on Jan 5, 2025.
