In the early hours of October 23 (Kyiv time), the total number of matches played in Dota 2 surpassed the 8 billion mark, according to the statistical portal STRATZ.
The milestone match took place on a Peruvian server, with the Radiant team emerging victorious.
The first billionth match was played back in November 2014, with subsequent milestone matches happening in 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2023.
