Dota 2 Celebrates 11th Anniversary
Today marks the eleventh anniversary of Dota 2, which was officially released on July 9, 2013.
Valve first introduced Dota 2 at Gamescom in 2011, where the inaugural tournament of The International series took place. The game underwent nearly two years of beta testing before its full release. In 2015, Dota 2 was upgraded to the Source 2 engine.
