Dota 2 patch 7.34c reduces the power of some heroes that were considered too strong
Dota 2patch 7.34c represents yet another effort to bring balance to the game's roster of heroes. This update, which was rolled out over the weekend, has brought adjustments to 57 heroes, with most of them being relatively minor. Notably, heroes like Nature's Prophet and Gyrocopter, who have been ruling the current meta and excelling in their roles, have been the focus of these changes.
In this patch, the alterations were primarily directed towards neutral items, with a particular emphasis on two potent tier-one items, the Occult Bracelet and Spark of Courage. Aside from a minor reduction in the movement speed of Solar Crest, these items received adjustments.
Nature's Prophet has seen a significant reduction in his base agility, dropping from 20 to 14. This substantial nerf significantly impacts his early-game performance, which has been one of his strong suits. It renders him more susceptible to physical damage and lowers his attack speed. Moreover, the Sprout ability now provides healing when consumed with Tango, offering support heroes with limited item slots an alternative to purchasing a Quelling Blade, at least in the early stages of the game.
Gyrocopter, too, has undergone changes with a reduction in his agility gain and adjustments to his Flak Cannon ability and associated talents. These changes entail moving additional Flak Cannon attacks to a later level, decreasing the spell's damage, and extending its cooldown. These nerfs collectively aim to make Gyrocopter less efficient at farming during the early and mid-game phases, thus negatively affecting his late-game damage output.
Additionally, there have been noteworthy nerfs applied to heroes such as Invoker, Vengeful Spirit, Earth Spirit, and Dawnbreaker, all of whom have dominated both professional and public matches in recent weeks.
