In Dota 2, preparations are underway to make changes to the ranking system, which will be dependent on the players' conduct and behavior

Messages about possible changes to the ranking system in Dota 2 were discovered by dataminers in the game's source code. This information appeared in the DOTA_DM Telegram channel.

It is speculated that ranked matches will be closely tied to a player's conduct evaluation. Players who exhibit more sportsmanlike behavior may receive higher rating points (MMR). Additionally, there may be changes in the mechanism for forming match lineups in this multiplayer online game.

Earlier, dataminers also found alleged changes to the Dota 2 map. According to their data, the upcoming update will modify the locations of outposts and observatories on the game map. However, official developers have not commented on this information.

The anticipated changes to the ranking system are expected to be implemented in Patch 7.34. The update is scheduled to be released in August, but the exact date is yet to be specified. As per information from Vikram Reddy, the update will be available before the start of the regional qualifiers for The International 2023, which are set to commence on the 17th of the month.
