Dota 2 has become the leader in the number of prize money played among all disciplines

Dota 2 has become the leader in the number of raffled prizes among all esports disciplines - in 2022, over $32 million in prize money was raffled here. The well-known analytical service Esports Charts shared similar data.

As before, Dota 2 stood out thanks to The International — this year, $18,930,775 were raffled off at the championship. In addition, each of the three DPC tours (both divisions) in six regions added $280,000. Last season, they also held two majors in Stockholm and Arlington, as well as regional finals due to the coronavirus pandemic.
