23savage becomes the first Dota 2 player to reach 13,000 MMR
20-year-old Thai native Nuengnara '23savage' Teeramahanon has become the first player in the world to break the 13,000 MMR mark in Dota 2. The cybersportsman spoke about this on his Twitter account.
He admitted that in order to achieve such a result, he needed to play Dota 2 for three weeks 24/7. As you can see, the efforts paid off and he earned the title of the first esportsman to earn 13,000 rating points.
In addition, 23savage is currently ranked #1 on the list of top pro players in the South East Asia region.
Nuengnara '23savage' Teeramakhanon started his career as a professional Dota 2 player in October 2018 under the MSCerberus tag. A year later, he moved to the Fnatic roster, with whom he achieved good results.
However, 23savage showed the best performance in terms of tournament results and earned prize money in the T1 roster, in which he played from March 2021 to February 2022. Together with his teammates, he managed to win ESL One Summer 2021, and also take 7th-8th place in The International 2021. In the first case, T1 earned $175,000 per team, and in the second, $1,000,500.
Over the course of his career, the 20-year-old esportsman has earned nearly $350,000 in prize money. He currently plays for the Talon Esports team along with Mikoto, Jabz, Q and Oli.
