Puppey remains a support and captain of Team Secret
The European esports organization Team Secret has announced that Puppey remains the support and captain of the Dota 2 roster for the next season. With this announcement, the club dispelled rumors about the possible transition of the Estonian to the position of head coach.
All-Timer is here to stay. Puppey will lead our Dota 2 roster in the new season.
Puppey is a Team Secret legend. Having joined the team in the summer of 2014, the 32-year-old Estonian earned over $2,500,000 with the club. Over eight seasons, the esportsman became the winner of The Shanghai Major 2016, DreamLeague Season 8, The Chongqing Major, MDL Disneyland® Paris Major and DreamLeague Season 13, and also made it to the top three at The International 2021 and The International 2022.
Recall that last week information appeared on the network, according to which Puppey may announce the end of his career as a professional player and move to the position of Team Secret coach. Then DuBu, the current TSM support, was called as a potential newcomer.
However, this is not the only rumor surrounding potential lineup changes. In particular, a number of insiders reported Nisha's imminent departure, which could be replaced by Malr1ne from the Nemiga Gaming team. It remains only to wait for the official announcement of the roster for the next season from the European club.
