Puppey Joins NAVI's Active Roster: Could This Be His Big Return?
Clement “Puppey” Ivanov, one of the founding members of Team Secret, has been with the organization since its beginning. However, a recent post on FaceIt has sparked speculation about his future, as Puppey was listed as an active roster member for his former team, NAVI.
In a Reddit thread, fans noticed Puppey’s appearance on NAVI’s active roster page, leading to a flurry of discussions across forums. Over the past decade, Team Secret has gone through numerous roster changes, but Puppey remained a consistent presence as the team’s captain.
Puppey’s absence from The International 13 (TI13) raised questions, but the possibility of him rejoining NAVI, the team he played for during The International 3, has both surprised and excited fans.
NAVI’s current roster consists of Artem “Yuragi” Golubiev, Sukhbat “sanctity-” Otgondavaa, Dmytro “Nefrit” Tarasych, Bakyt “W_Zayac” Emilzhanov, and Arman “Malady” Orazbayev. If Puppey were to join the team, it’s likely he would replace Malady, the current position five player, a role Puppey has excelled in for over a decade.
The FaceIt roster page indicates that Puppey is currently playing in the position five slot for NAVI, though it’s unclear whether this is a permanent or temporary move. Neither NAVI nor Team Secret has released an official statement on the matter.
Puppey’s future in the professional Dota 2 scene remains uncertain, and fans are eager to see whether this move will spark a resurgence for both him and NAVI.
