Rumors: Gabbi and kpii may join Fnatic
According to the ONE Esports portal, the British esports organization Fnatic has decided to strengthen its Dota 2 roster. According to sources, the club intends to sign contracts with Gabbi and kpii - former players of T1 and Talon Esports, respectively.
Gabbi spent the last nine months of his career with T1. Here, the 24-year-old Filipino esportsman made it to the top three at DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Regional Final, BTS Pro Series Season 10: Southeast Asia and DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I. However, he was unable to travel with the team at The International 2022, resulting in the player being shown the door.
In turn, kpii played the last season in Talon Esports. Together with the team, the 29-year-old Australian offlaner became the winner of Continent Peace and The International 2022: Southeast Asia Qualifier, and also got into the TOP-2 according to the results of DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division II and DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I. However, after missing out on The International 2022 playoffs, the esportsman also left the team, becoming a free agent.
Gabbi will likely take over as a carry on the team while kpii will continue to play as an offlaner like he did before being removed from Talon Esports.
Recall that earlier the British organization Fnatic parted ways with Jabz and Raven, and also said goodbye to coach SunBhie. Who will come to replace them is still unknown. It is also unclear where Raven himself will continue his career, who has not yet shared his plans for his future.
Likely Fnatic Dota 2 roster:
- Gabby
- Armel
- kpii
- DJ
- Jaunuel
