Solo leaves Natus Vincere
The Ukrainian esports organization NaVi has announced that the Dota 2 roster is saying goodbye to Alexey 'Solo' Berezin, captain and position 5 player. The organization said that in order to improve results next season, the roster is subject to change. NAVI wished the experienced player good luck in the future.
Solo joined Natus Vincere last September replacing SoNNeikO. Together with the Russian player, the Born to Win took 7th-8th place at OGA Dota PIT Season 5: Europe/CIS, which brought them $5,750. At the beginning of the year, the team played in two tournaments of the Dota 2 Champions League series, where they earned $12,500 in total.
In the ranking season, NAVI first took 5th-6th place at DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I Playoffs, because of which the team missed ESL One Stockholm 2022. Silver at DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I and $28,000 prize money allowed the Ukrainian tag to come to PGL Arlington Major 2022, where NAVI stopped in 13-14th place. The players did not qualify for ESL One Malaysia 2022.
At the qualifiers in Eastern Europe for The International, Natus Vincere took 3rd place, which allowed them to go to Singapore to fight for the last 2 slots for the World Championship in The International 2022: Last Chance Qualifier. There, the Ukrainian team won Group A and advanced to the upper bracket. In the playoffs, NAVI lost to T1, outplayed Tempest, after which they had to face Xtreme Gaming. A 1-2 defeat left the club out of the opportunity to play at The International.
Natus Vincere roster is presented below:
- Alik 'V-Tune' Vorobey
- Volodymyr 'No[o]ne' Minenko
- Vladyslav 'laise' Lais
- Georgii 'swedenstrong' Zainalabidov
Recall that The International 2022 will be held from 15 to 30 October this year. The top 20 teams from around the world will compete in LAN format for the title of world champion, as well as the largest prize pool of the year. At the moment, its amount is $14,223,567. The venue will be Suntec Singapore and Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore.
