TNC Predator commented on Asta scam

Recently there was information about fraud, which was manifested by Asta. A forum resident known by the nickname charles4theboys reported that Asta was engaged in unscrupulous activities. He sold Steam accounts, and after he received money from them, he returned the accounts through account recovery through the support service.

The e-sportsman has been repeatedly seen in such scandals, but this time the noise was raised in earnest.

The management of the TNC Predator club, which now includes Joshua 'Asta' Torres, did not stand aside and began to investigate the case and later gave their comment on the situation.

Representatives of TNC Predator said that they clarified the situation and Asta really did what they shouldn't have done, and the club's management does not encourage such actions. They also helped to fix the problem and Joshua paid the fine and returned all the funds to the affected victims.

They wrote the following on their Twitter account:

In light of the recent issue with our carry, Joshua 'Asta' Torres, we at TNC Predator do not encourage behaviors and actions that are inconsistent with the values we practice every day.

The moment the issue came to our attention, we spoke to Asta to confirm the whole story. We then reached out to the affected party to help them reach an agreement to resolve the issue. Everything is settled for now: Asta has paid the agreed amount, and he issued a public apology via his social media account.

We would like to thank the community for shedding light on this case. We will always continue to guide our players to become the best version of themselves both inside and outside of the game.

Asta joined the Filipinos on August 16 and will take part in the qualification for The International 2022 for teams from Southeast Asia. The qualifying round will be held from 3 to 18 September. The best team will receive an invitation to the main stage of The International 2022, the main annual Dota 2 championship.
