Battle Pass in Dota 2 will be released on September 1st

Valve will release a Battle Pass in Dota 2, which will be timed to coincide with the upcoming The International 2022 in Singapore, will be released on September 1st. This was told by the developers in the patch notes of the latest update.

The International is getting closer, and with it the most beloved features of the Dota community. So open your calendars and write it down: this year's Battle Pass will release on September 1st.

It is known that the Battle Pass will continue to function after the end of The International 2022. However, it is currently unknown what features the Battle Pass will offer. A little earlier, dataminers found lines of text describing the upcoming Battle Pass in Dota 2. The found fragment says that it will be divided into two parts.

The main part of The International 2022 will take place from 15 to 30 October in Singapore at the Indoor Stadium and Suntec Arena. This championship is reported to be the largest in Dota 2 history as 30 teams from all over the world will take part in it.

Currently, the names of twelve participants of the event are known - PSG.LGD, BOOM Esports, OG, TSM, Thunder Awaken, Tundra Esports, Team Spirit, beastcoast, Team Aster, Fnatic, Evil Geniuses and Gaimin Gladiators.
