TNC Predator temporarily leaves Dota 2 discipline
The Philippine esports organization TNC Predator has decided to temporarily leave the Dota 2 discipline. Eric Redulfin, CEO and co-founder of the club, spoke about this, adding that TNC Predator plans to return to the discipline in the future.
This is a very tough and difficult decision. The TNC Predator Dota 2 team will not participate in the upcoming DPC season. The organization will take a break from competition and support the situation from the outside. There have been many discussions, negotiations and moves to make this happen. Unfortunately, this plan did not materialize for TNC Predator.
We have come a long way, from cyber cafe competitions to the biggest Dota 2 tournaments. From failures in qualifiers to victories at WESG, ESL and Major Championship, and gaining glory for our country. This is not the end of our journey. We will continue our TI dream to bring the Aegis home. TNC Predator will rise again!
The TNC Predator organization was introduced to the scene in 2013. During this time the club was represented by some notable players including Raven, Kuku, TIMS, Gabbi and March. In addition, TNC Predator has victories at such championships as World Electronic Sports Games 2016, China Top 2017, World Electronic Sports Games 2018, ESL One Hamburg 2019, MDL Chengdu Major and ESL One Thailand 2020: Asia.
However, last season TNC Predator took 13th place in the qualifiers for The International 2022, missing the main event. The team was also relegated from the second division of the DPC in Southeast Asia to the open qualifiers.
It's unclear when the organization plans to return to the scene. Based on the video, the TNC Predator Club planned to stay in the discipline, but later abandoned the plans due to unforeseen circumstances.
