Team Empire Disband Dota 2 Roster

Sad news awaits all fans of the team. A few hours ago, representatives of the organization in their Twitter account announced the dissolution of the current Dota 2 roster.

Team Empire is one of the oldest teams in the discipline, formed in 2012. At the peak of its history, the team won prizes in such tournaments: 3rd place at D2CL Season 2, 1st place at D2CL Season 3, 1st place at StarLadder StarSeries Season 11. In addition, the team participated in The International 14, 15, and 17 years.

The current roster cannot boast of a prize-winning place in any major tournament. From the beginning of 2022, the only achievements of the team are 2nd place at the local Winline Insight, 9-12th places at the 8th and 9th seasons of D2CL. The last tournament for the team was the third round of the DPC EEU 2021/2022 in the second division, from which the team was eliminated in last place.

According to the representative of the organization, poor performance was the main reason for the dissolution. On the other hand, the Empire brand itself remains, so maybe we'll hear about a completely new lineup soon.

Our Dota 2 roster has been disbanded due to unsatisfactory results, however Empire will remain in competitive Dota 2, so stay tuned for more news later.
