Soniqs signs Quincy Crew Dota 2 roster
The North American esports organization Soniqs has announced the signing of the Quincy Crew Dota 2 roster. This is the esports club's first foray into a Valve discipline, having previously featured in VALORANT, PUBG, Rocket League, Apex Legends, and Rainbow Six.
The latest iteration of the Quincy Crew came out last November. During the season, the North American team made several changes, thereby increasing its competitiveness in the regional arena.
During this period, the team managed to win DPC NA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division I, as well as get into the top three at DPC NA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Regional Final, DPC NA 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division I and DPC NA 2021/ 2022 Tour 3: Division I. However, the North American team passed the only major to date.
The roster manager will still be KBBQ, who has been working with the North American team since March 2020. The nearest championship for Soniqs will be PGL Arlington Major 2022, which will start in a few days. Note that the team currently occupies the 17th place in the Dota Pro Circuit 2021-22 table, leaving behind a chance to directly qualify for The International 2022.
PGL Arlington Major 2022 itself will be held from August 4 to 14 in North America at Esports Stadium Arlington. The total prize fund of the championship will be $500,000. Seventeen participants of the last Major tournament will compete for the title of champion, 820 rating points of theDPC2021/2022 season, which will help them get to The International 2022.
