Valve released information DPC 2022/2023
The developers of Dota 2 and part-time organizers of the league for this esports discipline Valve spoke about the changes made in the Dota Pro Circuit league. They also named the dates on which the events will be held.
Now every Dota Pro Circuit season has been halved. Previously, participants played each other in matches for 6 weeks. Now they will fight within 3 in-game weeks. Previously, representatives of the upper and lower divisions played in parallel for all 6 weeks. Now the first 3 weeks will be given to the representatives of the upper division, and the next 3 weeks will be devoted to the teams of the second tier.
Winter Dota Pro Circuit 2022/2023 will be held from January 9 to 29 for the participants of the first division. The second division will fight in matches between 30 and 19 February. The first Major tournament will take place from February 24 to March 5.
Spring Dota Pro Circuit 2022/2022 starts on March 13 and ends on April 2 for the top division. Participants of the lower division will play from 3 to 23 April. The second Major championship will be held from April 28 to May 7.
The last summer Dota Pro Circuit 2022/2022 will be held from May 15 to June 4 for participants in the top division. Meetings of representatives of the lower division will take place between June 5 and 25. The last Major tournament of the 2022/2023 season will be held from June 30 to July 9.
Valve has also left room for applications that tournament operators can submit to host championships in this MOBA discipline.
