Ame may leave the stage and end his professional career
Ame is considering ending his career as a professional Dota 2 player. The 25-year-old Chinese player spoke about this on a joint broadcast with the popular Chinese streamer Xiang Ge.
Ame appeared on the scene back in 2015, having spent almost his entire career in the structure of LGD Gaming (PSG.LGD). Over eight years of competitive career, the 25-year-old Chinese esportsman became the winner of Mars Dota 2 League 2017, EPICENTER XL, MDL Changsha Major, WePlay AniMajor and OGA Dota PIT Invitational, and also got into the top three at Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018, The International 2018, The International 2019 and The International 2021.
When Xiang Ge asked the player about the latter's age and reluctance to fight, Ame said that he had been playing Dota 2 for seven years and would like to leave at his peak. The 25-year-old also expressed concern about the unpredictability of attending The International 2022 due to the current situation with the coronavirus pandemic in China.
At the same time, Ame expressed his desire to win The International 11 and play Diablo IV before the end of the year - in addition to not having a very high opinion of the Royal Never Give Up Dota 2 roster.
Probably, Ame's decision will depend on the results of PSG.LGD at The International 2022 and the participation of Chinese teams at it. It is worth recalling that the Chinese team qualified for the championship ahead of schedule after two DPC seasons. The main part of the championship will take place from 15 to 30 October in Singapore at the Indoor Stadium and Suntec Arena.
PSG.LGD is currently playing in DPC CN 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I. According to the results of two rounds played, the Chinese team shares the first place with other representatives of their region.
