AS Monaco Gambit ceases to exist

The Gambit club announced the dissolution of the second Dota 2 roster. The AS Monaco Gambit division has existed since February 2021.

According to unconfirmed information, the dissolution of the second composition was facilitated by the sanctions imposed by the West in response to the military invasion of the Russian Federation into the territory of Ukraine. Gambit Esports is associated with persons sanctioned in the Russian Federation.

The AS Monaco Gambit roster participated in the second division of the DPC in Eastern Europe, where it finished 7th and was eliminated from the DPC system. In addition, AS Monaco Gambit played in local tournaments like D2CL, where they had no success.

Recall that earlier Gambit said goodbye to the CSGO roster, which is now represented by the Cloud9 club, as well as the successful Fortnite roster that earned over $750,000 in prize money. Now Gambit has the following remaining assets: the main roster for Dota 2, Apex Legends and VALORANT.
