Cloud9 signed contracts with Gambit Esports players
The American esports club Cloud9 made an interesting announcement on social media regarding the future of its CS:GO department. The management announced the signing of contracts with five Gambit Esports players and their coach Konstantin 'Groove' Pikiner. In addition, the CS:GO division included analyst Ivan 'F_1N' Kochugov and manager Alexander 'Sweetypotz' Shcherbakov.
Now nafany, sh1ro, interz, Ax1Le and HObbit will play under the Cloud9 tag. Recall that the aforementioned five recently managed to reach the Legend stage of the next CS:GO Major tournament. They managed to achieve this under the Players tag.
In March last year, the previous Cloud9 roster was disbanded. The management cited the coronavirus pandemic and the inability to improve bootcamp conditions to get better results on the professional CS:GO scene as the main reason.
