Neon Esports part ways with OB Esports
The Neon Espots club announces the termination of cooperation with OB Esports. The companies have been working together since March 2021.
Statements by Robert Campbell, CEO of Neon Esports
Today is the last day of our official partnership with OB Esports. I want to thank everyone for these 12 months. Last year we qualified for the first major in the history of the club and took 5th place there. We also managed to outplay the strongest teams in the world as part of the championship journey to the Huya Winter Invitational.
The time spent with OB Esports allowed us to explore Chinese culture and build a true friendship. The support of OB Esports brought our club to the international arena.
I wish OB Esports all the best in their future endeavors.
Refusal to cooperate with the title sponsor will not affect the club's Dota 2 roster in any way. The team will continue to play as part of the DPC 2021/22 Tour II: SEA - Upper Division, and the new title sponsor, apparently, will be Logitech, with whom the club collaborated in parallel during the period of cooperation with OB Esports.
