Forev leads Talon Esports
Hong Kong esports organization Talon Esports has announced the appointment of Forev as the head coach of the Dota 2 roster. Note that this is the first coaching experience in the career of a 30-year-old South Korean cybersportsman who retired last year.
Last but not least, the addition that completes our roster is our coach. We present to you, Dota 2 veteran Forev, who will lead us to triumph.
Forev appeared on the professional scene back in 2013. During the nine years of his career, the 30-year-old South Korean esportsman tried himself in several big clubs, including MVP Phoenix, Team Secret, Immortals and T1. In total, Forev earned over $450,000 in prize money by winning Nexon Sponsorship League Season 2, Dota Pit League Season 4, WePlay Dota 2 League Season 3 and WSOE 6: Dota 2 - Serenity's Destiny.
In addition, the former offlaner took 5th-6th place at The International 2016, and also made it to the top four at The Shanghai Major 2016.
Note that this is not the first change in the composition of Talon Esports in the current off-season. Earlier, the organization parted ways with Gabbi and Fly, signing Q and 23savage, former players of Motivate.Trust Gaming.
The nearest tournament for Talon Esports will be DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division II, which will be held from March 14 to April 21.
The Talon Esports roster is currently as follows:
- 23savage.
- Mikoto.
- kpii.
- Hyde.
- Q.
- Forev (coach).
