GeneRaL left NAVI

The Ukrainian eSports organization NaVi has announced changes to the Dota 2 roster, parting ways with GeneRaL. At the same time, Solo became the unanimous leader of the team, who went over some of the duties of ArtStyle.

On January 23, the first season of the DPC EEU 2021/2022 ended, in which the NAVI Dota 2 team took fifth place. This is an unsatisfactory result for both the players and the club management.

Based on the matches of the last season, it became clear that the views of some players on the tactical component of Dota 2 are very different. The situation worsened after the end of the bootcamp, when the players went home. All attempts to resolve internal disagreements in the team did not lead to the desired result, therefore, in order to correct the situation in the future, changes are needed.

Before the start of the second season of the DPC, we are considering several options for further development of the roster. However, in any case, the remaining players will continue to work together.

GeneRaL became part of the updated NAVI roster in September last year. In five months, the 25-year-old Ukrainian esportsman helped the team take second place in Dota 2 Champions League Season 6.

Solo became the leader of the team. In addition, he partially took over the duties of ArtStyle, who will continue his career at NAVI in another position. Representatives of the organization promised to share details later.

Currently, the NAVI Dota 2 roster is as follows:

  • V tune.
  • No[o]ne.
  • ALOHADANCE.
  • Solo.
