ana refused to play at Invictus Gaming
According to insider Arthur, ana received offers from Invictus Gaming, but the player himself refused to move to China. At the same time, the two-time The International champion was ready to join the team on terms of play from Hong Kong.
Invictus Gaming contacted ana twice asking if he would like to play with them from Hong Kong. He was interested in this idea. However, Invictus Gaming later changed her mind and wanted him to play from China while raising the salary offer at the same time.
He refused, then Invictus Gaming spent the whole day to discuss this point. And then they agreed that ana would play online until the first Major was over. However, after that, Invictus Gaming changed their mind at the last minute because they prefer everyone to play offline.
Note that ana already played for Invictus Gaming as a replacement in 2016. Since then, the 22-year-old Australian has joined OG, becoming the champion of The Boston Major 2016, The Kiev Major 2017, The International 2018 and The International 2019.
However, in the summer of 2021, ana left OG, deciding to end his professional career. The last tournament for the player was DreamLeague Season 15 DPC Western Europe Upper Division, where ana and her team took sixth place.
