G2 Esports organization has announced a new strategic partnership with the legendary Chinese club Invictus Gaming in the world of Dota 2. Under this agreement, the roster of Invictus Gaming will be represented under the new name G2.iG.

This collaboration marks a significant step for G2 Esports in strengthening its presence in the Eastern gaming market. The organization's plans involve not only participating in tournaments but also conducting various initiatives aimed at engaging Chinese fans.

It's expected that the G2.iG team will make its debut under the new name at the upcoming ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, starting from November 11. The Chinese group has been placed in a group alongside 9 Pandas, Team Falcons, Team Liquid, and other teams.

The creation of a Dota 2 roster marks G2 Esports' ninth strategic move of this kind. The organization has already found success in disciplines such as League of Legends, Valorant, Counter-Strike, Rainbow Six, Rocket League, Wild Rift, racing simulators, and Call of Duty.
