Team Liquid won Americas Minor Championship

Nitr0 and his team managed to defeat Misfits in the final competition and won the Minor tournament. In the group stage, Team Liquid played better than other 7 participants and took the first place in Group A. Only after getting to the play-off, Liquid lost their first match against Misfits with 2-1 score and got to the final from the lower bracket. In the grand final, Team Liquid took a revenge with 2-1 score and became the champions of the Minor.

Misfits also got a chance to participate in the closed qualifiers to the first Major tournament of 2018, but their reward was only $15,000. Counter Logic Gaming, who took the third place, took the remaining $5,000, but did not get invite to the closed qualifiers. Tournament table:
