Rumors: Hiko may transfer to OpTic Gaming
The captain of American Team Liquid roster, Spencer «Hiko» Martin may transfer to another American roster – OpTic Gaming. The reason for the transfer is Peter «stanislaw» Jarguz’s joining Team Liquid.
The possible development of the situation was announced by one of the popular esports world insiders, DeKay. Currently, neither Hiko nor Team Liquid did not launch statements concerning this situation. Yesterday in the morning, the information appeared that stanislaw, ex-captain of the OpTic Gaming, left the team. The Canadian player signed a contract with another organization. It happened just after the end of The ELEAGUE Major. Later, the information appeared that this organization was Team Liquid. Recently, DeKay announced that Hiko would become a new player for OpTic Gaming, who leaves the team to make way for stanislaw to become a team captain. It means that OpTic Gaming and Team Liquid made a certain interchange of the team captains hoping for the better future. Hiko has been playing for Team Liquid during the past year and a half. Being a member of the roster, a player managed to move to the semifinal of MLG Columbus and ESL One Cologne 2016. In the past The ELEAGUE Major 2017, OpTic Gaming and Team Liquid did not manage to pass the group stage. As a result, OpTic Gaming took 12-14 place, and Team Liquid took 9-11 place in the tournament table. The same positions were taken by GODSENT and Team EnVyUs correspondingly.
