ESL disproved information about pay-per-view broadcasts
Recently, David Hill announced that ESL might introduce a system of pay-per-view broadcasts for the biggest tournaments.
ESL disproved this information and insisted that only additional content may become paid. This news appeared on eSports Observer referring to ESL representative. ESL addressed several esports portals with announcement that they will not change money for watching tournaments, but they are considering the introduction of some paid content for viewers. ESL vice-president told in his Twitter account that only certain content will be available for users who pay for access. As an example he used ZnipeTV, which allows to watch over certain players during the matches. Yesterday, ESL announced that they are going to cooperate with ex-producer of Fox Davil Hill company who told variety.com that ESL are planning to increase the quality of broadcasts up to the TV level.
