Misfits signed CS:GO roster
American esports organization announced signing their first CS:GO roster.
The ex-Team SoloMid players joined new roster of Misfits: Sean «sgares» Gares, Shahzeb «ShahZam» Khan, Skyler «Relyks» Weaver, Hunter «SicK» Mims and Russel «Twistzz» Van Dulken. A slot in the fifth season of ESL Pro League, owned by Misfits players, still belongs to them.
Sean «sgares» Gares previously played under the tag of Team SoloMid since December 14 till December 23 of the previous year. He was dismissed from the roster after a scandal between PEA and players of 5 American teams. The association decided to prohibit teams to participate in ESL Pro League Season 5. Many players were against that decision. Team SoloMid players wanted to preserve their CS:GO roster, but the management decided to accuse sgares of fraud and harming the reputation of the brand.
Slingshot eSports portal was the first to announce that Team SoloMid players may leave the organization. Also, a popular insider DeKay told that ex-Team SoloMid might become a part of another organization and play with their current roster.
Misfits is a multigaming esports organization. Currently, the organization owns League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Super Smash Bros, Overwatch, HearthStone and Heroes of the Storm rosters. It needs to be noticed that a few days ago, Miami Hit, a club of the national basketball organization, decided to buy Misfits stocks and will hold the advertising campaign.
