Group A Group A was the strongest one in WESG 2016 Grand Finals group stage. This was the group with tier-1 teams played including Virtus.pro, Team EnVyUs and Epsilon eSports. These three teams demonstrate equally strong game and do not leave their rivals a chance for winning. Team EnVyUs and Virtus.pro take the first two places with 3-2-0 statistics, Epsilon eSports take the third place with 2-1-1. Team Russia, Team One and subtLe have 1-1-1, 1-0-3 and 0-0-4 statistics correspondingly. Team EnVyUs pass to the quarterfinal of the play-off stage, and Virtus.pro and Epsilon eSports join ⅛ of the tournament. Other teams ended their participation in the tournament. Group B The Finnish team iGame.com showed unexpected results and surprised all representatives of CS:GO community. They won all 4 matches and became the only team in WESG 2016 with such result. VG.CyberZen, k23, Vault, rEAK and ENZO were the rivals of iGame.com in Group B. VG.CyberZen and k23 continue participation in the event moving to the play-off stage. Vault, rEAK and ENZO are withdrawn from the event. Group C In group C, Team Kinguin demonstrated a good level of game in the group stage. Space Soldiers, Signature Gaming, Bravado Gaming and FIVE eSports Club were their rivals. As you probably understand, everything would be different if GODSENT did not ignore the tournament and played in group C. But they’ve missed it, so Team Kinguin managed to take the first place and moved to the quarterfinal, while Space Soldiers and Signature Gaming move to ⅛ stage of play-off after taking 2 and 3 places in a group correspondingly. Group D Dark Passage became the team that managed to surprise everyone. Everyone thought that TyLoo will take the first place, but the Turkish CS:GO team demonstrated that they could play compete against the best teams. Dark Passage have 3 wins and 1 draw moving to the quarterfinal. TyLoo and SelfLess Gaming join ⅛ stage of play-off. 12 best teams of the group stages were qualified to the play-off stage.

Team EnVyUs, iGame.com, Team Kinguin and Dark Passage demonstrated the best results were qualified to the quarterfinals immediately. Virtus.pro, TyLoo, Signature Gaming, Space Soldiers, Selfless Gaming, VG.CyberZen, Epsilon eSports and k23 also demonstrated good results and took 2-3 places in their groups. That allowed them to join ⅛ stage of play-off series. We believe that Team EnVyUs and Virtus.pro can expect to pass to the grand final. They are the favorites of the event.
