DreamHack Las Vegas organizers announced a list of teams invited to closed qualifiers. 8 teams received invites basing on The ELEAGUE Major 2017 results.

All invited teams will play against rosters which managed to pass open qualifiers. The beginning of closed qualifiers is scheduled on January 9, 2017. The qualifiers will be hold online. The format of qualifiers is best of three, Single Elimination.

The tournament itself will be hold on February, 18 - 19 in Las Vegas, the US. The competition is the part of esports festival DreamHack. The general number of participants is 16, 8 of them will receive direct invites. The prize pool for the event is $450,000. MGM Grand Garden Arena (17,000 places capacity) hosts the event.
