The results of the distribution of teams by groups have appeared on the official Twitter page of the organizers of DreamHack Winter 17 for the CS:GO championship. All eight teams have been distributed into two groups, where they will play bo1 and bo3 matches by a GSL system. Two best teams from each group will go to the playoffs with a single-elimination bracket and bo3 matches.

The tournament will take place in Jonkoping, Sweden on December 1-3. Eight teams, six of which have received direct invitations, will struggle for a prize pool in the sum of $100,000.
