Details of qualifiers for FACEIT Major known

The organizers of FACEIT Major: London 2018 announced the first details of the qualifiers for the championship: the beginning of the open qualifiers is planned on 14 May, and they will have ended up on 17 June.

Eight best teams of the open stage in each region (The CIS, Europe and North America) will get to the closed qualifiers. In South America, Top-2 teams will get directly to the American Minor, and Top-6 teams in Asia will get in the same way. All the matches will be played in the single-elimination bracket.

The closed qualifiers for Europe and North America will be held on 22-24 June, and the holding dates of other regions are still unknown.

The final stage of the championship is planned on 20-23 September in London. The holding place was chosen to be an indoor arena Wembley Arena, where 16 participants will fight for the prize pool of $1,000,000.
