This decision was made after C9 lost the qualifier for StarLadder Berlin Major 2019. Only autimatic managed to keep his place in the renewed roster.

New players of the American team are mixwell, daps, koosta and TenZ, who will replace Golden, vice, RUSH and cajunb.

At the beginning of the previous year Cloud9 became champions of ELEAGUE Major 2018 and since then they couldn't win any tournament.
