RpK left Vitality
French esports organization Team Vitality has announced its farewell to RpK. Note that the 32-year-old French player has been in the team since the formation of the roster in October 2018.
"You have been a part of the CS: GO team since its inception, you helped us reach the top thanks to trophies and fame. Thank you for your good mood and all these memories. Thank you for everything, LeTank," theorganization tweeted.
RpK became a constituent unit of the team that was formed at the very end of 2018. Experienced players, LeTank has helped the team rise to the top, winning many solid championships along the way, including DreamHack Open Atlanta 2018, Charleroi Esports 2019, cs_summit 4, Esports Championship Series Season 7 - Finals, EPICENTER 2019 and BLAST Premier: Fall 2020.
However, at the beginning of 2021, the French team began to experience problems, finding the root of all troubles in the 32-year-old player. In April, the organization decided to put RpK on the bench with young Kyojin. Since then, LeTank has been inactive, without disclosing details regarding the continuation of his professional career. Now the player's contract with the organization has come to an end, while RpK itself will consider various options: from retirement to finding a new team.
From now on, Vitality's roster looks like this:
- ZywOo.
- apEX.
- shox.
- misutaaa.
- Kyojin.
- XTQZZZ (trainer).
